We partnered with Precision Hydration (UK) to create a mobile 1980s sports bar activation for Ironman events.

The 1980s marked the rise of triathlon culture.
The goal was to bring that legacy into a modern, high-performance environment.

Client Overview:

Create a visually striking activation that feels authentic to the era—while performing at the level required for live endurance events.

The unit needed to be durable, fully operational, and transport-ready for deployment across the West Coast and Hawaii.

Challenge:

We designed and built a fully customized 20-foot open-side container.

The structure integrates a serving window and dedicated access door for efficient flow.
Inside, materials were selected for both durability and finish—polyurethane-coated flooring and a butcher block bar top built for high-traffic use.

A complete electrical system supports live operations, including recessed and ambient lighting, eight power outlets, refrigeration, and a mounted display.

An overhead grid system allows for flexible installation of curated 1980s memorabilia, reinforcing the theme without compromising function.

The exterior is wrapped in custom graphics inspired by suburban 1980s environments—bold, recognizable, and built to stand out.

The centerpiece is a six-foot, double-sided illuminated sign, engineered to hold a full racing bike, creating a strong visual anchor for the activation.
