Pageant of the Masters

LOCATION
Laguna Beach, California

TYPE
Hospitality / Custom Container

For more than 90 years, the Laguna Beach Festival of Arts has been one of the nation’s premier juried fine art shows, showcasing work from more than 100 award-winning Orange County artists.

The Festival is also home to the celebrated Pageant of the Masters, where real people, elaborate sets, theatrical lighting, live narration and an orchestra bring famous works of art to life as remarkable “living pictures.”

For an event built around artistry and presentation, even its supporting spaces need to feel considered.

THE CHALLENGE

High-Volume Service in a Refined Setting.

The Festival needed a compact food and beverage operation capable of handling steady guest traffic without compromising the polished atmosphere of the event.

The structure had to provide an efficient workspace for staff, support both beverage and food preparation, and withstand continuous use throughout the Festival.

THE SOLUTION

Purpose-Built for Hospitality.

SuperBox converted a 20-foot shipping container into a fully functional service environment featuring two large concession windows, integrated counters, internal shelving, storage, electrical systems, lighting and ventilation.

The layout gave staff an organized workspace while creating two welcoming service points for Festival guests.

Every Square Foot Put to Work.

A compact footprint demanded careful planning.

Two large service windows maximize guest access while interior counters create efficient work zones. Built-in shelving and storage keep supplies organized, and integrated electrical, lighting and ventilation systems support day-to-day operations.

The result is a flexible service environment designed to keep staff moving efficiently during busy Festival periods.

Built to Serve.
Designed to Belong.

The finished container provided the Festival with a dedicated destination for fine wines, handcrafted cocktails and gourmet food while giving staff the infrastructure needed to serve guests efficiently.

More importantly, the structure felt appropriate to its surroundings. What began as a standard shipping container became a polished hospitality space designed specifically for one of Southern California’s most distinctive cultural events.

FROM CONTAINER TO EXPERIENCE

SuperBox Events was nothing short of fantastic to work with! We had two of our extremely large clients collaborating on a project together which needed to have custom containers that was within budget and SuperBox Events was able to help us with all of it...

I am going to use SuperBox for our next event that we have! 5 out of 5 stars!”
